ABOUT
Hi! Nice to meet you!
Hello! I’m Krystelle. I am a Filipino-Canadian artist based in Calgary. My parents immigrated from the Philippines to Canada 50 years ago. I am the Creative Director and Lead Teaching Artist of Krystelle Creations, and art hub where storytelling becomes art. I’ve been a teacher for over 10 years and love helping people of all ages connect through creativity, curiosity, and collaboration.
My work is rooted in community. I believe that when we create together, we build connection and community. You’ll often find me painting live at community events, leading art workshops across the city, or working with communities from corporate businesses, local organizations and families to turn shared stories into visual art.
I am a Creative Community Artist who helps people feel seen, heard, and connected through meaningful art experiences rooted in inquiry and play. I design and lead community-centered art experiences that transform stories into meaningful, shared artwork. I partner with organizations to create impactful, story-driven art experiences that build connection, belonging, and community.
I’m so excited to create with you and see these stories come to life! Thank you for being here to support and follow along this adventure, I'm glad you're here. Big Hugs, Krystelle
