Welcome to "Art & Wonder"

We have started a 6 week course of "Art & Wonder" at NGPA.

During our first class we created our own sketchbook / journals.

I shared with them the book "What do you do with an Idea?" Written By: Kobi Yamada and Illustrated by: Mae Besom to explore key foundations for this course.

‘Art & Wonder’ is a art program designed to spark curiosity, confidence and connection in young creators and artists.  Over four weeks, children will explore a variety of materials and techniques while reflecting on their identities, dreams and the world around them.  Each session is rooted in inquiry, play and community-building. 

Krystelle Celestino Wurtz is an educator with 10+ years of classroom experience and is a practicing Professional Teaching Artist. She specializes in nurturing people and their stories so they feel seen, heard and valued.  You can learn more about Krystelle on her website or on Instagram.
